Welding machines are usually classified as constant current or constant voltage. A constant current machine varies its output voltage to maintain a steady current while a constant voltage machine fluctuates its output current to maintain a set voltage. These welding machines are generally used by professionals like welders. There are many types of welding machines available in the market which are used for different purposes like 3-Phase D.C. machines/ transformers and power packs, bench mounted spot/ projection welders, electronic controllers, integral transformer type spot welders, rocker arm spot welders, pedestal spot/projection welders, seam welders, special purpose welders/multi-spot welders, suspended spot welders and transformers, welding guns and many more.

Rocker Arm Spot Welders is a very economic product and is used for general purpose fabrication needs of shops that handle M.S. boxes and sub-assemblies of size less than 1 m cube using sheets thinner than 2 mm. Air operated type 15-30 kVA are most beneficial. It is rugged welded steel frames, build in microprocessor control with dual current, dual weld time, upslope and pulsation. There is an adjustable throat depth and speed control adjustments on the air rocker. It has generally two stage electric footswitch with the option to add a second footswitch for dual current on the air rocker.

Integral Transformer Type Spot Welders are needed in auto bodies and large sub- assemblies of cars such as doors. Such welding machines are in high demand because of their optimum quality, excellent performance and longer functional life. Available in cost- effective prices, these machines can be customized as per the specifications given by the clients or the customers. Smaller sub-suppliers are often benefited by the evolution of these products but careful study about safety, operator efficiency, fixture interference and maintenance must be considered to decide the overall suitability. Integral Transformer type spot welders are also being introduced as more energy-efficient alternatives.

Suspended Spot Welders and Transformers are available in various sizes and designs so, that they can be used for various purposes. When spot welds are required on a large object such as the body of a car, Weld Guns have to be small and handy to be reached around the locations. A modern car line consists of over 150 of suspended Welder Guns. Suspended Spot Welders and Transformers are compact in construction and are appreciated for the durability, resistance to corrosion, high performance and low maintenance. These are easy to install and operate welding machines fulfill all the requirements of various industries.
